Heath is the founder and owner of Forsyth Construction. Growing up in Ward, Heath developed a strong work ethic; he has worked in outdoor, physical jobs all of his life and leads an active, outdoors lifestyle. When he’s not working, Heath can be found spending time with his wife and daughter, or off hunting and fishing with the lads.
Heath became a qualified builder in 2012 after completing his training with BCTIO and is now a Licenced Building Practitioner. He has worked as a sole trader contracting to various builders and companies since 2013. In addition to his local building experience, Heath has worked overseas in the outback of Australia building and in the United States as a fencer and rancher. His latest overseas adventure was working as a builder in the isolated island of Nauru as a FIFO worker.
In 2020, Heath and his wife, Shamatay, founded Forsyth Construction and have continued to grow the team and services offered, in addition to offering apprenticeships and mentoring to up-and-coming builders.
